The Busy Day: Building Our Homes

Today we started building our homes. We didn't have a lot of materials or time so it was difficult and tiring. We used popsicle sticks for lumber and pipe cleaners for the roof. We didn't have any carpet or tile, our floors were made of dirt.

It was hard to work together because everybody had different ideas. Also, everybody wanted to do the same exact job at the same time. Some colonists got mad because the houses kept falling down. It was hard work and we have one more day to finish.

    Building houses is hard work and with limited time and resources, it can be frustrating! But from the looks of the pictures, you should be proud of the houses that were successfully built. Keep working together and don't give up!
