Next, we started answering our own questions and we learned many things! We used non-fiction books such as If You Sailed On The Mayflower in 1620 by Anne McGovern. The table of contents was like a map and it took us to the pages we needed. We found out that Indians were already living there because we would later find their corn (and take it to survive).
We searched on the internet to find more answers using the Google search engine! First, we typed what we wanted to know in the search box. The websites taught us that there was a big storm--the weather was so cold that our clothes froze. The snow was as high as six inches on the ground...brrrrr.
